Dr. Barbara Huynh is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in treating adults with mental health disorders. She has a particular interest in treating individuals who struggle with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and women’s mental health.
Dr. Huynh believes in a holistic approach to treatment, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of her patients’ well-being. She utilizes medication management to help her patients achieve mental wellness.
Dr. Huynh has worked in various clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice. She is licensed to practice medicine in California and currently serves as a psychiatrist at SavantCare, a mental health clinic.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Huynh is involved in research and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society, Psychology (LifeTime Membership), the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the Southern California Psychiatric Society (SCPS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians of California (ACOFP).
